Marinated Smoked Herring

From a local fishery in the Saint-Laurent golf course, here is our smoked and marinated herring. Developed from a family recipe, the marinated smoked herring is a must for the Madelinot apertif. It is served on a cracker, accompanied by a piece of Pied de Vent cheese and a good glass of port.

Ingredients:  Herring, water, salt, canola oil, onion, garlic, paprika, bay leaf, natural wood smoke
